Macmillan Children’s Books has organised an ‘Authors Assemble Tour’ for Independent Bookshop Week (IBW) at the end of June.

Ten indie bookshops and a range of authors will be participating in the tour across schools in the UK, attempting to entertain thousands of primary school children.

Foolishly they have asked me to be one of the authors, touring north to south. I’ll be joining the brilliant Tom Percival, who pens the Little Legends series, and the actress/author Katie Dale whose books include Mumnesia, Someone Else’s life, Little White Lies and Fairy Tale Twists. Yes, I’m not sure why they asked me to come along either!
