After a lot of procrastinating, chin stroking, watching clips of 90s football and award-winning idleness, I’ve finally pulled my finger out and organised my online author talks.
These virtual visits allow you to hire me for talks, workshops or just any random tomfoolery that could will liven up another dull day at school or work.
The best thing about it being online is you won’t have me pacing up and down your school hall or meeting room (I do a lot of that). You also won’t have to get me a glass of water before I start – although I usually forget to ask for one.
I’m happy to discuss any ideas you might have for your sessions and offer a range of time slots. Anything from 30 minute talks to full day workshops. Age is no obstacle either, young and old, you are all welcome.
Here’s a quick video clip of me waffling on about what I can offer primary schools from an online visit. Don’t worry if you are not a primary school, I also do corporate events. Click here to see what all that is about.
How to get in contact with Scott Allen online
You can go via Authors Aloud who represent me for primary school public-speaking events. They are first class at organising this kind of thing. Or you go economy class by contacting me directly via my contact page.
Either way I’m very responsive to any ideas and, despite looking like a grumpy old Mexican bandito, I’m actually quite friendly.
Here’s some pictures of me doing events when we were allowed to go outside. There’s also some very nice testimonials at the bottom of this page so you don’t have to take my word for it.
